Evan Ward, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant who specializes in providing top quality orthopedic care. After serving his country for five years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Evan’s passion for medicine was sparked when he experienced a traumatic sports injury. After numerous surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, Evan attended the University of Minnesota where he became a nationally registered emergency medical technician and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He furthered his skills through international service-based learning and enhanced his support of cultural awareness by offering medical care to rural communities in Central America. In 2011 Evan was admitted to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he was trained by world-renowned physicians and obtained a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Evan has been working with Dr. Holt since 2015 specializing primarily in upper extremity injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He also has training in lower extremity injuries to the hip, knee, and ankle. His primary areas of interest are sports injuries such as traumatic ligament or tendon injuries, but also overuse injuries including tennis elbow and rotator cuff tendinitis or bursitis.

When not in the office or tending to patients at the hospital, Evan is active in his local community. He volunteers his time with the Boy Scouts of America, Play with a Purpose Youth Flag Football League, and other local sport leagues and organizations. He enjoys weight lifting, cycling, soccer, and recreational pistol shooting in addition to spending time with his three children.
